Procurement/ Supply Chain Manager (Network Manager)


Responsible for: The Treatment Network’s Medical and Non-Medical providers on their national network

Direct Line Manager: Head of Operations

To organise and improve the provision of the rehabilitation services within the company’s nation-wide network of member clinics and companies.



  • Responsible for the recruitment of all suppliers to The Treatment Network across all regions and disciplines.
  • Commercially and competitively negotiate prices for all new members.
  • Prepare and store all new paperwork in line with clinical governance and business requirements to ensure that the supplier is qualified to operate for The Treatment Network.
  • Be familiar with standard supplier contracts and be able to answer queries on contractual terms.
  • Use a range of software applications to record work and liaise with referral companies and member clinics.
  • Upload new applications to our case management systems and add in all prices and protocols.
  • Develop strong working relationships with the larger suppliers to ensure effectiveness of the service delivery and that any issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and control suppliers that have been problematic and deactivate them when necessary, ensuring all documentation on the reasons why Is completed.
  • Review the network performance on a monthly basis through reporting and manual audits.
  • Report on trends across the network to enable The Treatment Network to capitalise on any opportunities to reduce prices or increase coverage.
  • Manage and record any complaints relating to service delivery from suppliers.
  • Work with the clinical staff in the business to maintain high levels of clinical care and relationships with specific providers
  • Provide support and guidance to the team members involved in the recruitment and monitoring of suppliers.



  • Work with the operations management team to engage the suppliers and promote The Treatment Network.
  • Develop marketing literature to send out to existing members as a Brand exercise to reiterate the features and benefits of being part of the network and working with us.
  • Review the overall network, how it performs, SLA’s, client feedback etc. Look at reviewing processes and procedures to improve performance and the control The Treatment Network has over the network.
  • Assist with the migration of our network onto a single IT platform that ensures all clinical and governance factors are documented and utilised.
  • Ad hoc project work delegated by the Head of Operations.



  • Strong personal and communication skills.
  • Sales or procurement background or skill set.
  • A clinical background would be advantageous.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Commercial awareness of the market and service.
  • An excellent and confident telephone manner
  • Ability to prioritise workload each day and optimise opportunities
  • Willingness to learn and progress within the business.
  • Able to work alone and within a team.
  • Track record of delivering results with deadlines
  • A willingness to be flexible dependent upon the needs of the business
