Multi-Trauma Case Management for Employers

Managing cases with multiple or significant injuries

Like the name suggests, multi-trauma case management is the right choice if somebody’s suffered multiple injuries. But it’s also designed to help people who’ve suffered a substantial injury that needs rehabilitation, pain management, or even surgery. Here’s how.

.

How it works
  • A dedicated, experienced Case Manager is assigned.
  • An initial needs assessment is carried out in the home.
  • We set rehabilitation goals and coordinate treatment.
  • We arrange pain management and any required surgery.
  • Regular progress tracking keeps everyone informed.
  • We come back to you with clear, understandable reports.
  • The injured person is supported to an optimum recovery.
What it's suitable for

Multi-trauma case management is designed to help anyone who’s suffered substantial, or multiple injuries beyond the minor, but not catastrophic or life-changing.

We’ll expertly assess the range of injuries, and handle everything to support that optimum recovery – pain management, physical rehabilitation and psychological treatment, even surgery. And by assigning a Case Manager with the right experience, we can make the right interventions at the right time.

Key benefits
  • Professional – in-depth assessments are carried out by trained, experienced clinical professionals
  • Flexible – we tailor treatment, rehab and pain management plans to the individuals.
  • Responsive – constant contact with the injured person lets us respond to changes in their condition.
  • Holistic approach – Beyond physical rehabilitation, our Case Manager also ensures psychological and emotional support is in place, especially where there is trauma or anxiety related to the injuries. It is also important that the Case Manager considers the impact on the client’s wider life roles, including family, leisure and work and provides support in these areas.
  • Cost-effective – our deep expertise lets us recommend the right treatments for the individual, without escalating the costs to the insurer.
