The Company:

Corporé is one of the UK’s largest independent providers of rehabilitation case management services and absence, injury and risk management.

The Role:

To support our ambition to become the leading case management and rehabilitation brand in the UK, we have an exciting opportunity to join the Sales and Marketing team. With the continuing expansion of our business, we are seeking someone with a proven track record of acquiring new business and experience in managing a sales and marketing team to drive our client acquisition strategy and expand our customer base.

This role will focus on the acquisition of new business into Corporé as well as leading an established team of BDs and Marketing Assistants. This is a client-facing role, so strong interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively within the overall Commercial team.

The role will form a key part of the commercial team in onboarding new business. You will work closely with the General Manager to target key corporates and key regions to drive new business in these areas. You will also be involved in the tender process for key opportunities, as well as presenting directly to prospective clients. You will be responsible for monitoring the market for future opportunities, which will include relevant periodicals as well as direct contact.

  • Lead and develop the acquisition of new business for the Commercial team in line with business targets.
  • Work with the General Manager to secure corporate contracts, work up propositions and deliver proposals and presentations.
  • Work closely with the General Manager and Business Development Manager to develop growth opportunities.
  • Support the General Manager with needs analysis; business proposal production; tender preparation support; sales presentations; and negotiation & finalising contractual arrangements for new customers.
  • Compile and share key market knowledge of prospects and competitors to understand and develop our strategy.
  • Keep up to date with markets and form part of strategy development and new service development.
  • Work closely with all business development activities to ensure that every opportunity is taken to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Represent Corporé at industry exhibitions, seminars and events as appropriate.
  • 3 years of experience managing a sales and marketing team.
  • 5 years in either the insurance, legal or rehabilitation sector
  • Experience and success in working in a sales/key account role
  • Relationship and development experience at a senior level
  • Excellent relationship and communication skills including:

-Tender and proposal production and support

  • Ability to influence and inspire performance through others.

  • Graduate level or equivalent academic qualification
  • Experience working with rehabilitation and case management
  • Demonstrable success in securing both growth and new business revenue
  • Experience in developing large contracts with many stakeholders
  • A track history of achieving sales targets with a consultative approach to client relationships
  • A strategic approach to business planning and the ability to negotiate at a high level
  • Ability to prioritise and deal with varied workloads in an effective and timely manner.
  • The ability to create opportunities through the identification of customer needs
  • The ability to network and build relationships with potential customers
  • The ability to present to large groups & strong written skills for business proposal production
  • Competent IT user with experience and skills in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Relationship/Business Development experience within the legal and rehab market, and experience in the case management market would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of case management and rehabilitation services within the insurer market
  • Ability to support innovation around new products and services
  • Understanding of the customer journey both from an injured party and customer service perspective.
