A New Era of Customer Focus

A New Era of Customer Focus

From Sports Rehabilitation to Head of New Business, Andy Pepler outlines his journey to working with a newly restructured team, focused on achieving optimum outcomes in the personal injury sector with high-quality services.

In Andy’s own words

My first eighty days as Head of New Business at Corporé have absolutely flown by with an exciting team restructure that emphasises our dedication to delivering excellent case management, treatment and diagnostic services to our customers.

For me, case management wasn’t my initial professional calling. I graduated and worked in Sports Rehabilitation, combining my love of sports and interest in human anatomy and rehabilitation. I worked in a private practice for 6 years, working with the general public, local authorities on absence management and return to work, as well as professional athletes.

My career really developed when I moved to case management. Initially, I worked with clients who had sustained orthopaedic injuries and polytrauma and undertook additional training to also support individuals with chronic pain. However, over the course of nine years, I also took on managerial positions, including overseeing the operational side of case management.

I know what you’re thinking, what has this got to do with account management or new business?

Well, during those years, I gained exposure to Claimant Solicitor and Insurer customers by joining meetings to share details on available case management services and the operational mechanics of the business. With my experience, it was a powerful tool to demonstrate first-hand knowledge of how we could support customers.

With increased communication with customers, I naturally fell into a more commercial role. This was the perfect fit for me. I was aligned with the needs of my customers and enjoyed developing relationships to ensure we were delivering the right services for them and their injured clients.

Since then, my roles have been focused on operational management and business development across the case management industry. Then, in the last twelve months, my career accelerated once again.

Joining handl Group

The last twelve months have provided me the opportunity to support three of the handl Group brands as a Sales and Account Manager, and now I’ve joined Corporé with a new business focus.

It’s truly fantastic to work with individuals and in a space that is so driven to deliver excellent services for the clients we support and customers who instruct us. As Head of New Business, I look forward to identifying customers that would benefit from Corporé’s expertise and services to help make a real difference in people’s lives.

Joining me in my mission is a newly structured team with a renewed focus on the needs of our customers, both long-term and new acquisitions, to ensure we deliver trusted, high-quality services.

Business Development and Customer Relationships

Our new structure consists of two divisions within the same team with a more targeted focus on the needs of our customers. The Account Management side of our team focuses on maintaining excellent customer relationships whilst identifying solutions to innovate and develop our services in an evolving landscape. Business Development is focused on identifying new people who may benefit from Corporé’s extensive and bespoke range of services.

Whilst they are separate strands of the same team, the new structure also emphasises the importance of collaboration and demonstrates how these two streams flow together to provide excellent customer service and maintain high-quality standards.

Meet the New Team

Heading up the Account Management side is Strategic Accounts Director, Michael Davis – well versed in the claims and rehabilitation sectors and dedicated to developing and improving processes and procedures for his customers.

By his side is Strategic Relationship Manager, Nicola Crompton, who has worked within Corporé and The Treatment Network for many years. She uses her developed clinical knowledge and aptitude for building trusted relationships to help customers find solutions and essential support in the personal injury sector.

After joining Corporé in June 2024, Brionie Cook-Scowen has made a considerable impact on our Insurer and Claimant Solicitor customers as Business Development Manager. With her medico-legal background, Brionie understands the requirements of the personal injury sector, making her quick to identify sustainable solutions for her customers.

Working between the two teams is our newest member, David Powell, who has spent the entirety of his career focused on developing meaningful and lasting professional relationships.

This means that all our customers now have a trusted network of experienced professionals dedicated to identifying solutions and delivering innovations in personal injury.

This also means that our injured clients are supported now more than ever before by a team that is focused on achieving optimum outcomes specifically for them.

Corporé is an extraordinary place with a clear focus on making a positive and impactful difference to people’s lives. I am confident in our ability to deeply understand the needs of each and every customer, plus our injured clients, to achieve the best possible outcomes from our case management, treatment and diagnostic services.
