Established in 1998, The Treatment Network has been providing expert quality services to injured parties for over 27 years. In this time, they have developed an expert panel of over 5000 specialists who are able to provide treatment following road traffic accidents, personal injury, or work-related claims.
This has established TTN as one of the largest treatment and diagnostic providers in the UK for physical, psychological or hospital services.
But who are these expert specialists?
The Treatment Network’s database of experts make up a range of different specialists, including:
TTN accesses the most appropriate treatment for every client, intervening in the rehabilitation process as early as possible to avoid overreaching costs associated with entrenched trauma or enduring injury.
The Treatment Network’s database of experts is enhanced by our in-house psychological treatment services team, made up of Clinical Psychologists and Psychotherapists.
In the case of the new in-house psychological treatment team, they are able to provide psychological support alongside other rehabilitation requirements in a timely manner, coordinating necessary treatment when needed most. This promotes a better overall recovery, providing mechanisms to help injured parties cope with future flare ups post-injury, and avoids costly complications connected to secondary or chronic care.
Since TTN’s expert panel is made up of a wide range of specialists, there are many ways they help in personal injury, absence or risk management cases.
Within the collection of Physiotherapists for example, there are experts in spinal physiotherapy and also sports therapists to ensure the most appropriate treatment is available for every injury.
Similarly, for surgeons, there are Neurosurgeons, Cardiologists and Cosmetic Surgeons to name a few, providing a range of skills to help support optimum recovery following traumatic events in a timely manner to avoid costly complications in a case.
The extensive list of experts is coordinated and appropriately selected through The Treatment Network, who can be instructed to provide treatment following personal injury or work-related accidents in one of two ways.
Firstly, they can be instructed by Corporé through our Case Managers. When a Case Manager is required to provide rehabilitation following Employer Liability (EL), Public Liability (PL) or Road Traffic Accidents (RTA’s), they will carry out Initial Needs Assessments (INA’s) to establish the extent of injuries and draw on their clinical knowledge to recommend the most appropriate treatments required to assist an optimum return to function. The Case Manager contacts TTN to source the most appropriate expert, who will arrange all appointments and liaise with all relevant parties to detail treatment progress.
Alternatively, in cases where a Case Manager is not required, the claimant lawyer or insurer will contact The Treatment Network directly to assist with a claim. Employees within the hospital, physical and psychological teams will then contact the injured party directly with questions regarding their injuries, or provide them with a digital triage link dependent on the injury, to ascertain the treatment required. The team will then liaise with the most appropriate specialist and arrange treatments for the injured party, recording every step of the treatment process.
No matter which way an instruction is received, clinical quality is assured due to TTN’s comprehensive Clinical Governance strategy.
This robust approach ensures that strong clinical knowledge is demonstrated by all of The Treatment Network’s specialists, and that they adhere to high quality standards of industry best practice in every case to provide a trusted and efficient service that achieves optimum outcomes for injured parties and instructing parties alike.
The Treatment Network’s expert panel are based nationwide around the UK to provide the right treatment when needed most. Having this wide-ranging coverage means that TTN can source the most appropriate specialist in the right location for the injured party, reducing carbon emissions and excessive costs from long distance travel.
Where appropriate, some of The Treatment Network’s experts are also able to provide virtual support. This further eradicates unnecessary travel, reducing inconvenience for the injured party and removing unnecessary costs in a case.
